OUR FATHER

I can’t believe he’s gone. The only Pope that our generation has ever known, is gone. Millions of Roman Catholics looked to him to be an example of our sacred faith, and he did more than talk about it, he acted on it. Pope John Paul II didn’t just show love to people who saw things as he did. He reflected God’s love to all who would let him; people of all religions, nationalities and beliefs responded to the Pope’s warmth without ever having to meet him. Talk about FAITH in a leader!

I don’t know how we’re all going to react to the man who is to sit in the very chair our beloved Pope John Paul II sat in for almost 27 years. That’s a mighty big place to fill. Here’s hoping his successor will be everything he was and everything he strove to be.
